The practice is a partnership and the doctors take an active interest in all patients. You may consult any of them especially if you need an urgent appointment for a new problem.
However, please try to see the same doctor for follow-up appointments especially in the course of any one illness.
The practice nurses are based at the surgery.
They are available by appointment for treatment of minor injuries, ear syringing, removal of stitches and dressings. They work part time and each has specialist interests. They are closely involved in the care of patients with raised blood pressure, diabetes and asthma. They also help with health checks, immunisation and family planning.
You can talk to the nurses on the phone if you need advice.
The Community Midwife holds a weekly Ante-natal clinic at the surgery.
She also visits patients at home and assists with home births in carefully selected cases.
