The practice nurses are based at the surgery.

They are available by appointment for treatment of minor injuries, ear syringing, removal of stitches and dressings. They work part time and each has specialist interests. They are closely involved in the care of patients with raised blood pressure, diabetes and asthma.  They also help with health checks, immunisation and family planning.

You can talk to the nurses on the phone if you need advice.

Healthcare Assistants

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
