Clinics & Services
Here at the surgery we are equipped to carry out a number of minor operations and treatments, as well as providing specialised clinics.
All of our doctors are able to provide antenatal care and our community midwife is available by appointment once a week, to check that you and your baby are well and to provide useful information to help you have a healthy pregnancy.
Family Planning & Women's Health
We are able to provide a full range of contraceptive services, including the fitting of coils and implants by our female Doctors. Appointments can also be arranged with a Practice Nurse for the administration of long term contraceptive injections under the advice of a Doctor.
Cervical smears are conducted by our female Doctors and Practice Nurses and are recommended for women aged between 25 & 65. We will send a reminder letter when your smear test is due.
Diabetes, Asthma & Hypertension
We would encourage all of our patients with these conditions to regularly attend our nurse run clinics for a review and the latest advice on how to manage the condition.
If you are travelling outside the UK you may need to be vaccinated to protect yourself against some of the serious diseases found in other parts of the world. Our nurse run travel clinics are able to provide a number of vital immunisations (see the above travel page for more information).
We will notify you in writing as to when your child is due their immunisations and appointments can be made for the clinic every other Tuesday.
We provide a Physiotherapy clinic every Monday which can be accessed through doctor referral or a self-referral. For more information about how to self-refer please contact reception.
